When Can You Have a Wedding at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill?

Setting a date is one of the first things you’ll need to do as you dive into wedding planning! The weather changes a lot here, and each season brings something different – so the experience you have will definitely depend on the time of year you choose to tie the knot at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill.

Spring is one of the best times to get married here, because the temperatures are warm but mild, and as the landscape comes back to life after the winter, you can tie the knot amongst gorgeous wildflower blooms!

Summer is another great time for a Cabins on Strawberry Hill wedding, but it’s usually the rainiest season. July and August see the most rainy days, but this, along with the cabins location on the hill, can cool down the temperatures to make for a comfortable outdoor ceremony! This is a great time for hiking in the area and exploring the outdoors.

Along with spring, fall is another incredible time to tie the knot! The temperatures are more mild, and it’s drier than the summer. You can get married amongst the stunning, colorful displays from the red oaks, aspens, cottonwoods, poplars, willows, and even wild berries!

Winter brings a whole new look to the Cabins on Strawberry Hill. The mountains are covered in snow, and the view is just beautiful – you can go sledding, or cozy up by the fire. Temperatures get cold, but if you like snow and you bundle up, you can have a great ceremony outdoors, followed by celebrating in one of the cabins!

Wedding Ceremonies

When you get married at the cabins on Strawberry Hill, your ceremony will take place on the lawn, by the cabins. The lawn is spacious and has room for wooden chairs for your guests (provided by the venue), with a backdrop of gorgeous trees that create a woodsy scene that looks like a fairytale!

Another amazing thing about this place is that you can bring your pups. The venue is dog friendly, perfect for couples who want to include their fur babies in their wedding day!

Wedding Receptions

Once you’ve exchanged vows and tied the knot, it’s time to celebrate and get down on the dance floor with your loved ones! Receptions at the Cabins on Strawberry Hill are held outdoors as well, under the open air pavilion, decorated with magical string lights. The dance floor is adjacent to the wooden pavilion, and there are also bonfire pits, lawn chairs, and plenty of space to enjoy the stars or take in the views!
