Adventurous Sedona Engagement Photos
Keith and Savannah are old high school sweethearts who have decided to tie the knot! I actually knew them back in high school, which made it extra-special to get to shoot their engagement photos. They knew that they wanted an engagement shoot that was on the more adventurous side. So, we decided to go for a day of hiking out in Sedona.
For this kind of adventurous engagement shoot, we plan a loose route. However, the couple gets to lead the session as they have fun and explore. For Savannah and Keith, they stumbled onto a gorgeous little rain puddle. This ended up creating some of the best shots. As they danced beside the pool, they were reflected perfectly in the water. It made for something really beautiful and striking!
Golden Hour in Sedona
When you’re in such a stark landscape, even the tiniest details make a huge difference on camera. For these photos, it was the light that really stole the show. Sedona in golden hour is a pretty special sight. Keith and Savannah really made the most of it, soaking up every ray.
Once the sun dips under the horizon, though, the whole atmosphere changes. You get this kind of dreamy blue twilight that transforms the landscape again. It made sure that we ended up our engagement photos with some super romantic shots, which was awesome!
