About the Trapp Family Lodge

The unique combination of upscale amenities and outdoor space makes this the perfect place to host a wedding.

Trapp Family Lodge Wedding Venues

The Trapp Family Lodge sits on a huge piece of land in Vermont’s remote mountains, so you have several spots to choose from for your ceremony and reception!

Meadow Barn

The outdoor spaces at Trapp Family Lodge offer some of the most incredible ceremony locations. The Wedding Meadow is on top of a hill, with panoramic views of the mountains that surround Stowe, Vermont. It’s hidden a little from the main lodge, providing a secluded space big enough to host your wedding!

Croquet Lawn

In the front lawn is the picturesque Croquet Laws, surrounded by perennial gardens and evergreen trees. It’s close to the entrance of the Lounge, making it a convenient wedding site for an outdoor ceremony and a reception that can extend into the Lodge, or stay outdoors in good weather!

Concert Meadow

This area of the Trapp Family Lodge is often used for summer concerts, but can double as your wedding venue! From the Concert Meadow, you can see the sweeping vistas of Nebraska Valley, and there’s a stage for you to stand on, providing an unobstructed view for every guest.

Mozart Room

There are several indoor venues for your Trapp Family Lodge Wedding, which can be used to host your reception, or serve as a backup ceremony location. The Mozart Room is the largest, accommodating 80-100 guests with either a plated or buffet style arrangement, with a dance floor and room for a band. The rustic Mozart Room features beams and high ceilings, a cozy fireplace, and an adjacent patio and lawn for extra space!

Main Dining Room

For indoor weddings and receptions, the Main Dining Room has big windows that offer views of the gorgeous Stowe mountain scenery. PErfect for cold weather weddings without sacrificing the views, there’s plenty of space for your celebration!

Salzburg Room

The Salzburg Room is designed for intimate weddings of up to 50 people. The cozy space can also be used for cocktail hour, and is adjacent to the Main Dining Room.
